Razzle Dazzle 11.0 was organized to exhibit the talent of the 2025 batch students those who are graduating from the program B.Sc. Fashion Design (SLiCA) and B.Des Fashion and Apparel Design (SPADE). They choose the themes for their projects which were related to cultural heritage which showcases traditional attire from various cultures, sustainable fashion which highlights eco-friendly designs and materials and futuristic styles which focus on innovative and avant-garde designs.
The event featured a stunning array of stunning collections, with students presenting unique designs that reflected their individual journeys and aspirations. Attendees were treated to a vibrant display of colour, texture, and cutting-edge styles, culminating in a truly unforgettable evening. This show is not just about fashion; it’s about celebrating the hard work and dedication of our graduates. We are proud to provide a platform for these talented individuals to shine and express their creativity.

The event banner was officially unveiled at OAT on 23rd September at 3.30 pm.
The event was graced by the presence of Celebrity Guests Ms. Yashika Aannand, Indian Actress, Chief guest Mr. SB. Prashant, Founder Madsto Clothing and Guest of Honour Ms. Anjali, Manager Design, Indian Terrain. The Deans, HODs and Staff members of various departments were present. Notably, the HOD, Faculty and students of KCG college of Technology were also present for the show.
The event commenced with a Welcome Address by Dr. Marceline Pushpa, Dean, School of Liberal and Creative Arts.
The Show started with the traditional classical dance performed by our B.Des students. Following it the ramp walk performed by the professional models with the designer’s collection, in between the cultural program was performed by FD students.
A moment of pride and joy was the presence of our beloved Founder Chancellor, who graced the occasion on her birthday. To honour this special day Vice Chancellor delivered a heartfelt felicitation address celebrating her vision and leadership.
Our beloved Founder Chancellor was honored with a Cake cutting and a special birthday song sung in Malayalam followed by tree planting.
The Chief guest addressed to the gathering, that he first congratulates the students and greet the mentors to bring these excellent collections on stage. The creativity, confidence and passion I witnesses on stage was inspiring. Each collection reflected not just design skills, but also the individuality and storytelling ability of the students. The way you expressed your ideas through silhouettes, fabrics, and styling shows how much effort has gone into this work. I must also appreciate the faculty and organizers of Razzle Dazzle 11.0. The entire program was curated so well from the planning to the execution, it gave the students a real platform to express themselves and helped the audience experience the vibrancy of fashion as an industry.
Our Guest of Honour shared her delight to be part of such a well-organized and meaningful event. She showed her willingness to support the department and students. She was interested to attend the interactive sessions with the students and take part in future events. Celebrity Guest Ms. Yashika Anand shared her personal connection: “As a child, I had dreamed of studying at Hindustan. Today, being here brings me so much happiness. I invite your students to collaborate on costume design for my upcoming films.” She also lit up the stage by walking and dancing on the ramp.
In B.Sc Fashion design the First best designer award was presented to Ms. Deepika, for the theme of Tactile Luxe. This collection combined the sensory experience of contrasting textures like smooth leather and intricate woven leather with a minimalist, luxurious design. The second-best designer award was presented to Ms. Yuichingla P, for the theme of Evolve which depicts the craftmanship-drawing inspiration from everything from street style and heritage to architecture and contemporary art.
The First best Designer award was presented to Ms. Sai Harini B.Des FAD for the theme Eternal Bloom. These collections showed the philosophy that blends eternal aesthetics with deep conceptual meaning, often drawing inspiration from nature, mythology, and feminine spirit. She showcased the inventive ways to layer denim garments for maximum impact. The second-best designer award was presented to Mr. Balakumaran, B.Des FAD for the theme of The Denim Vangaurd. These collections focus on high quality construction, enduring style, and ethical sourcing to promote conscious consumption and minimize fashion waste.
Our guests were honored with Momento. It was presented to the Celebrity guest by Dr. Ashok George Verghese, Pro-Chancellor, Mr. Enid Verghese Jacob presented memento to our Chief guest and Mr. David Ryan presented to Guest of Honor.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Ramya, HOD of Fashion Design.
The event brought together Guests included industry professionals, alumni, family, and friends and fashion enthusiasts to support the graduates. As part of the event, attendees were encouraged to engage with the designers, providing valuable networking opportunities for the graduates as they embark on their professional journeys. The Razzle Dazzle Graduation Fashion Show successfully combined fashion, art, and education, reinforcing the importance of creativity in shaping the future of the industry.
