The Department of Mechanical Engineering organised a two day’s International Workshop on “Tribology and its Applications in Engineering” during 13th & 14th of June 2022. Around 23 participants were actively participated and gained the knowledge about Tribology and its applications in Engineering field. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. A Elayaperumal, Director, Centre for Affiliation of Institutions, CEG Campus, Anna University, Chennai – 25. Dr. P Vijayabalan, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. The technical sessions were handled by Dr. A Krishnakumari, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, Dr. A. Devaraju, Principal and Professor, Adhi College of Engineering and Technology, Kanchipuram, Dr. M. Saravanan, Assistant Professor, Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, Dr. R. Sathishkumar, Associate Professor, Department of Automobile Engineering, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, Mr. Saarvesh Jeyakumar, Institute of Automotive Lightweight Design, University of Siegen, Germany and Dr. I. Saravanan, Associate Professor Adhi College of Engineering and Technology, Kanchipuram. Finally, Mr. Elvin Roy, Assistant Professor, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
