International Men's Day

HITS celebrated International Men's Day on 19thNovember 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. On this special occasion, the institution had the honour of welcoming Lr. Subash, Advocate at the Honourable High Court of Madras, Senior Consultant to the Government of India, and Chief Legal Advisor to the Reserve Bank of India, as the Chief Guest.

Lr. Subash delivered a powerful and insightful address to the students, emphasizing the importance of understanding Indian laws, especially those that ensure safety, equality, and justice for men in society. His message encouraged students to be aware of their legal rights and responsibilities, and to contribute positively to the nation by being informed and responsible citizens.

Adding depth to the event, Rev. Justin Jose, our Student Chaplain, conducted an impactful session on mental health awareness for male students. He highlighted the significance of emotional well-being, the need to break societal stigmas around men expressing their feelings, and the importance of seeking support during challenging times.

The event not only celebrated the contributions of men to family and society but also aimed to promote gender balance, legal literacy, and mental wellness among students. It was an enriching and meaningful observance of International Men’s Day at HITS.
