The Center of Excellence for eHardware Innovative TestTechnology Systems (eHITS) was inaugurated on 16 September 2023 by General (DR.) V.K. Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Civil Aviation, Government of India in the presence of Shri. S.R.Sabapathi, President and CEO, Qmax Group of Companies. Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chancellor, Mr. Ashok Verghese, Pro Chancellor, Dr. Aby Sam, Executive Director, Dr. S.N Sridhara, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Alexander Jesudasan, Pro-VC graced the occasion.
The world class Center of Excellence in eHardware Innovative TestTechnology Systems (eHITS) with Automated Electronic Hardware Test Engineering facilities is established in collaboration with Qmax Test Equipments Private Limited with an aim to train and serve Government, Private R&D organizations, educational institutions at the National and International levels to meet the future demands in the field of advanced automated testing technology.
The eHITS offers:
1. Joint certificate Courses with Qmax.
2. Basic, Intermediate and Advance training in Test Engineering for Electronics Hardware.
3. Short term Training courses to students to enhance their employability levels and upgrade their skill sets in test engineering.
4. Training government, private R&D organizations and educational institutes at the National and International levels, Industry people in the fields of advanced test engineering.
5. Certificate courses for internal and external students.
6. International and national collaborations for funding.
7. Start-ups for the development of electronic testing
The Center of Excellence eHITS thrives to provide advanced levels of hands-on experience in trouble shooting and debugging, Test software development and reverse engineering for schematic generation of legacy and undiagnosed boards.
eHITS offers 3-level training courses for industry experts in:
1. Basic Training Course in Test Engineering for Electronics Hardware
2. Intermediate Technical Training Course in Test Engineering for Electronics Hardware
3. Advanced Development Training Course in Test Engineering for Electronics Hardware.
