Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science organized a vibrant celebration of Holi ’26 along with the YOLO (Techno - Cultural Fest) & YARONA (Inter – Departmental Competition) banner reveal on 4th March, 2026. The event was conducted on the university premises with the aim of promoting cultural unity, student engagement, and excitement for the upcoming techno-cultural fest. The program was organized by the HITS Student Council under the guidance of the Student Affairs department and witnessed the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Dean of Student Affairs, and Head of Student Affairs. The event began at 3:30 PM at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) with the much-awaited YOLO & YARONA banner reveal. The reveal was made exciting through an energetic flash mob performance by the students, creating enthusiasm among the audience. The banner unveiling took place in the esteemed presence of the Vice Chancellor, Dean of Student Affairs, and Head of Student Affairs, marking the official promotion of the upcoming fest. The celebration featured a celebrity walk-in by VJ Vishal, who interacted with the students and energized the crowd with an engaging talk. The event included colorful festivities with color powders, water guns, and water balloons, creating a lively and vibrant environment. Several cultural performances added charm to the celebration. The Investiture Ceremony of the Music and Dance Club was conducted, followed by captivating performances including a Semi-Classical Dance and an energetic Fusion Dance. Fashion students presented an elegant Ramp Walk, showcasing creativity and style. The highlight of the celebration was the Rain Dance Battle, where students enthusiastically participated, making the Holi celebration even more exciting and memorable.
