Expert Talk on “Energy for Next Generation” was delivered by Mr. J. Rooby, Scientific Officer, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. on 8 May 2021 through virtual mode. The talk was arranged to benefit EEE major students. Selected school students who registered for National Level E-Quiz on Electric Vehicles and Green Energy also attended this lecture. Mr. J. Rooby’s talk centered arounduse of renewable energy sources, effect of climate change due to global warming, saving energy/electricity to reduce air pollution, safety precautions in nuclear power plant etc. Over 65 participants attended the event.
