The Rotaract Club of Hindustan University is a student-led organization that aims to promote community service and leadership among the adults. They conduct various projects and events throughout the year to serve the community and make a positive impact.
One of the significant events hosted by the club is their Annual DRR (District Rotaract Representative) visit. The event was held on 2 May 2023 at the Bay Range Campus. During this event, the club presented their annual secretarial report of the projects they had undertaken during the Rotary Year 2022-23. The report included details of the various projects, events, and activities that the club had organized and their impact on the community.
The Club also submitted the report to the District Rotaract Council 3232, which oversees the functioning of Rotaract Clubs in the district. This submission of the report is an essential part of the accountability process to show that the club maintains transparency and ensure that they are fulfilling their responsibilities.
Another crucial aspect of the event was the announcement of the President-elect and Secretary-elect for the year 2023-24. This announcement marks a significant milestone for the Club as it sets the leadership for the upcoming year. The President and Secretary are responsible for leading the club and coordinating its activities and events.
The event was graced by two distinguished guests, Rtr. PP. Goutham Raj - DRR 22-23, and Dr. K.S. Shaji - Dean Student Affairs. Their presence added value to the event, and their insights and experiences provided valuable guidance to the members of the club. Overall, the 8th Annual DRR visit was a successful event that celebrated the club's achievements and marked the beginning of a new leadership journey.
