Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science celebrated Dandiya ’25 on 3rd October 2025 at the Open Air Theatre, bringing together students for a vibrant and energetic celebration of Navaratri. The event was organized by the HITS Student Council under the guidance of the Student Affairs Department, with the aim of promoting cultural unity and festive spirit on campus.
The celebration began at 3:30 PM, as students gathered in large numbers, dressed in traditional Navaratri attire. The venue came alive with colorful lehengas, cholis, and kurtas, creating a visually rich and festive atmosphere that reflected the essence of the occasion.
The highlight of the event was the lively Dandiya and Garba dance, where students enthusiastically participated in rhythmic group formations, moving in circular patterns and striking Dandiya sticks in coordination with the music. The energetic beats and synchronized movements created an engaging and joyful experience for everyone present.
