The faculty of HITS are gettingprominence in EuropeanCountriesthrough‘International Staff Exchange Programmes’ for Teaching, Learning and Research activities. Faculty have several learning options from MoU’s. The MevlanaStaff Exchange Programme to Yildiz Technical University(YTU), Istanbul, Turkey offered by Council of Higher Education,Istanbul, Turkey is one of its kind with a lot of benefits. Istanbul is a fascinating city connected to two Continents that owns the world class business centres, knowledge institutes and research institutes. YTU is one of the best technical universities in Istanbul.
During my 14-dayprogramme at Yildiz Technical University between 1 and 14 November 2018, the latest topics of Computer Science and Engineering such as Block Chain Technologies, Machine Learning and its Applications were delivered to the graduate students through various Courses, Workshops and Seminars. The other promising part of the programme involved, working on a research collaboration between universities which provided me an excellent opportunityto apply for a research proposalin collaboration with Yildiz Technical University.
Along with the well-planned activities such as Lectures and Seminars to the graduate students of Yildiz Technical Univeristy and leisure to explore the European part of Istanbul, Mevlana Exchange Programme provided me a great exposure to research facilities too. At Yildiz, I have utilized the excellent opportunities for research by interacting with their faculty. This is a great place to learn from others, share one’s strengths and make collaborations. Many students of YTU interacted with me and benefitted throughout the exchange programme which in fact is a rewarding experience to me.
After the successful completion of all activities in Mevlana exchange Programme, I was awarded “MEVLANA INSTRUCTOR” by Yildiz Technical University. The practice and knowledge gained through this exchange programme was exceptional; and I thank my institution for the chance
