Our students emerged as winners and bagged the cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh at Smart India Hackathon 2022 under Software Edition of SIH Senior Category. The competition was held at Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran, Punjab on 26 August 2022. Team Athena, students of III-year B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) developed a Face Detection Solution for the Data Identification and Individual Body Temperature through CCTV Cameras by incorporating Artificial Intelligence. The team received a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh cash prize for the problem statement on Al Face Detection. HITS takes immense pride in congratulating to the team on achieving this incredible feat under the mentorship of Dr. M. Sambath, Associate Professor, CSE.
