It was a momentous occasion to invite Mr. P. Unni Krishnan, National Award Winning Playback Singer and Carnatic Vocalist as chief guest for the Alumni Meet and Institution of Alumni Ambassadors 2019 on 19 October 2019. In his address, Mr. Unni Krishnantouched areas of life sciences, and briefed on how to lead a peaceful and successful life. Hementioned the importance of Alumni boding with their alma mater and insisted on their contribution in terms of 3Ts: Time, Talent & Treasure to the millennials and institution. On audience’s plea, Mr. Unni Krishnan sang few lines from his popular scores. Dr. T. Jeyapoovan, Professor, School of Mechanical Sciences who has been associated with HITS for over 3 decades gavea PPT on HITSAA activities and quoting to the chief guest’s speech, persuaded them to foster good alumni relationship. WithAlumni Ambassadors 2019 certificates issued, the Alumni Ambassadors swore anoath. It was an enthralling day for Mr. Unni Krishnanand Mrs. Priya Unni Krishnan, popular Bharathanatyam dancer to see their son, Mr. VasudevUnnikrishnan graduate the same day from Hindustan. Dr. E. Bhaskaran, President, HITSAA; Mr. Kamal BN & Mr. K. Sundararajan, Principal, HIETwere also spotted at the event.
