DELEGATION FROM CHENNAI IN CITY HALL, TRIER | Event Date: Monday, 14th, November 2022

(kig) The friendly contacts between Trier and Chennai are intensifying: With Selva Samykannu and Victor Manickam, two government representatives from the Indian metropolis were guests for the first time in the city hall, where they were welcomed by Lord Mayor Wolfram Leibe. An exchange program has existed for several years between the Trier University of Applied Sciences, represented by Prof. Peter König from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, whose director Ashok Verghese (5th from right) also came to Trier. Funding within the framework of the "International Urban and Regional Cooperation Program" (IURC) will be intensified. The development of a resource-saving campus concept for universities is on the agenda.
