B. Arch. Class of '99 had a memorable Alumni Reunion on 2 April 2022 at the college campus. The event was organised by the School of Planning Architecture and Design Excellence (SPADE) and HITSAA. Ar. Devisree, Associate Professor, SPADE, compered the reunion. Ar. Vergis Oomen, Distinguish Visiting Faculty, SPADE extended a warm welcome to the alumni. Dr. Sheeba Chander, Dean, SPADE shared her recorded special address highlighting the growth of the department over the years, its expansion, achievements and also the contribution of the alumni for the same. Later, HITS Alumni Activities were briefed by Ms. Pragatha, Dy. Reg. (HITSAA Coordinator).
Alumni had a live interaction by introducing themselves and sharing their reminiscences about the college. Mr. Niroop Reddy spoke about the entrance arch of the University on how it created an image to the institute, being the first instance, which comes to the mind when talking about the college. He also mentioned about the speciality of the OAT and the main stage. Mr. Keiser Arulanandhan drew memories of the faculties who taught them those days. Ms. Krithika Karuappiah shared a slideshow of the photo collage of the memorable college days which brought tears of joy to the alumni and faculty members. Ar. Tanya Devotta, AP, Alumni Coordinator, SPADE proposed the vote of thanks. The reunion culminated with the group photo session, followed by casual interaction.
