2nd international Conference On Smart Grid & Electric Vehicle (Icsgev 2023)

The 2nd International Conference on Smart Grid and Electric Vehicle was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK and University of Leeds, UK on 3 and 4 April 2023 on hybrid mode.The conference was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Guest, Dr. S. Joseph Antony, Associate Professor, University of Leeds. The Guest of Honor was Dr. R. Gopalan, Former Regional Director, ARCI, DST, Government of India. Dr.  A. Sivathanu Pillai, Professor – Emeritus (Research), HITS delivered the felicitation address. The presidential address was presented by Dr. Pon Ramalingam, Registrar, HITS. Special address was delivered by Mr. Sakthi Ganesh, Managing Director, Velev Motors India Pvt Ltd, Chennai. Dr.Sanjib Kumar Panda, Associate Professor, National University of Singapore, Singapore delivered the keynote address. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. A. K. Parvathy, Head (EEE) and Organizing Chair ICSGEV-2023 and the Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. A. L. Vallikannu, Head (ECE) and Organizing Co-Chair ICSGEV-2023.

More than 137 papers were received in this conference, 90 papers were recommended and accepted for presentation after peer review, and 85 papers were registered and presented. All presented papers will be published in AIP conference proceedings which will be indexed by Scopus. 13 different sessions were arranged to accommodate all the participants. More than 300 students and attendees, 223 paper presenters and keynote participants have benefited from this conference.

The valedictory function of the International Conference on Smart Grid & Electric Vehicle was organized on 4 April 2023. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. A. L. Vallikannu, Head (ECE) & Organizing Co-Chair ICSGEV-2023. Chief Guest of the valedictory function was Dr. V. N. Mani, Senior Research Scientist, HITS. The conference report was read by Dr A. K. Parvathy, Head (EEE) & Organizing Chair ICSGEV-2023. The certificates were given away to all the participants. Dr. K. R. Devabalaji, Organizing Co-Chair ICSGEV-2023 proposed the vote of thanks.
