2ND-GRADUATION-CEREMONY-OF-ADVANCED-DIPLOMA-IN-AUTOTRONICS | Event Date: Friday, 14th, December 2018

The Centre for Automotive Electronics, Department of Automobile Engineering, HITS conducted its 2nd Graduation Ceremony for Advanced Diploma in Autotronics Programme on 14th December 2018, Friday.

The Graduation Ceremony started with the academic procession headed by Dr. K. P Issac, Vice Chancellor; followed by the Chief Guest Mr. Chidambar Garge, Head – Technical Training, Volkswagen Group Academy, Pune; the Guest of Honour, Mr. Suresh Nagaraja, Chief Manager – Training, Volkswagen Group Academy, Pune; Dr. N. Vasudevan, Dean-Academics; and Dr. M. Jaikumar, HoD, Automobile. The College band added flavour to the Academic Procession.

Dr. N. Vasudevan welcomed the gathering and mentioned about industry 4.0 technology & skill gap among engineering students and how this Autotronics programme aims at fulfilling the gab. Dr. M. Jaikumar read the course completion report and listed the insights of CAE road map towards E- Mobility & Self-driving projects. Dr. K. P Issac declared the graduation day open and congratulated the graduands. He highlighted the revolution of automobile industry, block chain and cloud technologies used in Automobiles. Mr. Chidambar Garge pointed out that learning is a continuous process by the hard work and dedication by teachers in shaping the graduands as a responsible citizens of the country. Further, he also mentioned that VGA and HITS have been moulding the young students to meet the requirement of Automotive Society through this Autotronics Programme. Mr. Suresh Nagaraja congratulated the Faculty-in-charge & Trainer Mr. T. Shanmuganathan for his involvement & steps taken towards the conduct and success of this programme. He also played video clip of Mr. Koushal, Service Technician, Bentley, Alumni -2016 batch.

Graduates (16) were awarded their certificates on this Graduation Ceremony. Parents expressed their joyful gratitude to the faculty and the management in moulding their wards as professionals.
