About the Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a comprehensive Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program designed to develop skilled technicians and industry-ready professionals. The program provides a strong foundation in engineering sciences, manufacturing processes, thermal engineering, machine design, CAD/CAM, automation, and maintenance engineering. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering should satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

  • Candidates should have passed SSLC (10th Standard) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board. 
  • Students with a strong interest in mathematics, science, machines, and manufacturing processes are encouraged to apply. 
  • Lateral Entry: Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary (10+2) with Vocational subjects or ITI (relevant trade) from a recognized institution may be eligible for direct admission to the second year, subject to the prevailing admission regulations.
