The Department of Automobile Engineering at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) offers a comprehensive range of modern undergraduate, diploma, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programmes designed to meet the evolving demands of the global automotive industry. Our faculty members have developed an excellent national and international research profile, particularly in the areas of Vehicle Safety, Telematics, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. A notable milestone is our successful collaboration with Trier University, Germany, under the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) project, which has facilitated impactful research and academic partnerships. Through the DAAD initiative, "A New Passage to Indo–German Higher Education Cooperation," the department has received research funding to support student project exchanges, collaborative research activities, and international academic engagement.
