About the programme

BACHELOR OF COMMERCE

B.Com(General) programme is one of the most sought option graduation degrees in India owing to its ease of choosing a career post completion. It's a three-year undergraduate programme which prepares the student in the fields of commerce, business applications, taxation and accounting. The 360-degree curriculum of B.Com(General)programme provides the students the opportunity to work in sectors related to accounting, banking, finance, tax advisory, chartered accountancy, forensic accounting, digital marketing and even foreign trade houses. This degree programme gives a good base for higher professional and degree programmes like, CA, CS, CFA, MBA, CPA and Master of Commerce etc. The scholastic structure of the programme is inclusive of live industry projects, industry training, E- commerce and hands on experience in the realm of business. With the dynamic curriculum design and the experienced teaching faculty, B.Com (General) is a programme which assures the right path and a bright future for the students.

Mission

To make students to work responsibly, creatively, and ethically as an individual or as a member or a leader of a team in all commerce related multidisciplinary environments.
To inculcate students to obtain effective communication skills, leadership quality, team spirit and creative skills to succeed in their professional careers
Provide value-based education to the students which address the social needs.
Establish industrial interaction to improve the employability skills as well as the technical skills of students and the ability to solve complex technological problems in real time.

BACHELOR OF COMMERCE

  • PEO1: Demonstrate competency across business disciplines specifically apply the essential elements of core business principles to analyze and evaluate problems and to construct and implement solutions in the business environment.
  • PEO2: Perform teamwork and leadership skills in the evaluation of organizational conditions using a system perspective to determine necessary action.
  • PEO3: Practice high level professionalism necessary to deliver the knowledge, expertise and skill of students through application of research to business problems and issues.
  • PEO4: Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of ethical principles at both the professional and community levels.
  • PEO5: Apply critical reasoning process to specifically employ appropriate analytical models to evaluate evidence, select among alternatives, and generate creative options in furtherance of effective decision making.
