About the Program

SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

This is a full-time, undergraduate degree program in the field of healthcare. This program prepares the students to operate the heart-lung machine, in addition to imparting the basics of non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.

SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

Knowledge on basics of non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures related to catheterization, balloon angioplasty, valvuloplasty, closure of congenital defects, pacemaker implantation, vascular diagnosis and interventions etc. is imparted. 

Training on communicating to surgeons, during invasive procedures. 

Training and thus enabling the students to operate the heart-lung machine, ECMO, ventricular assist devices and intra-aortic balloon pumps. 

Clinically equip the students, to assist the cardiac surgeons during the invasive procedures.
