About the Program

This is a full-time, undergraduate degree program in the field of healthcare. This program prepares the students to assist cardiologists with non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.

Salient Features

A sound knowledge on non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures related to catheterization, balloon angioplasty, valvuloplasty, closure of congenital defects, pacemaker implantation, vascular diagnosis and interventions etc., is imparted.

Training is provided in preparing the patients for monitoring the blood pressure, using ECG equipment for measuring the heartbeat.

Enabling the students to perform non- invasive procedures such as echocardiography, Holter and Treadmill exercise testing.

Assisting the cardiologists during the non-invasive procedures.
