A Physiotherapist has a major role & responsibility in a hospital scenario. Their role is crucial in pain management, pre-operative, and post-operative rehabilitation. Their responsibilities in the healthcare industry include:
Prescribing remedial exercises.
Muscle strength evaluation & quantification.
Treatment by electrotherapy modalities and different therapeutic exercises using automated machines.
Evaluating balance in neurologically affected patients.
Apply manual therapy, mobilization, manipulation of soft tissue techniques.
Wheelchair, and gait training with or without ambulatory aids.
