The National Service Scheme (NSS) cell of HITS along with Madras knights Round Table 181 and Madras Knights Ladies Circle 200 organized a Blood Donation Camp on 23 September 2022 at MGR Auditorium as a part of Chancellors Day Celebration. More than 800 students actively registered for blood donation. Around 528 eligible donors were identified and they donated blood to various Government Blood Banks. The Chief Guest for the event was Tr. Vijay Raghavendra, Area 2 Chairman, Round Table. The event was graced by the august presence of Tr. Shahid Asraf, Chairman, MKRT 181; Tr. Sujay Sudarshan, Area 2 Vice Chairman; Cr. Priyanka Goel Chairperson-MKLC 200 and Cr. Isha Vivek VC-MKLC 200.
